2017 SILVER SURVIVOR CUP HONOREE

Saturday Night

Every year we honor a cancer survivor on a beautiful Silver cup, a signification of courage and strength. This trophy is donated by Amy & John T. Haller Jr. and is  awarded during one of our most popular equestrian classes Saturday evening.  Be sure to be ringside to salute and cheer our 2015 cancer survivor champion, as they are a champion in life.

 

LADIES DAY

Saturday  Afternoon aprox 1pm

For women of ALL ages, this fun day includes the iconic "Derby Style"  Hat Contest and all are encouraged to have a  pink ribbon flair to their hat.  A special Pink award will be given away, and the winner will be chosen at approximately 1pm to the best in show hat

Looking for a great excuse to get out of the house?  Stop by and enjoy world class equestrian event, bring a date, pack up the kids, your best friend, your neighbor and come out and enjoy the Pink Ribbon Classic on a Friday evening

 

 

2017 PINK RIBBON SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD

Saturday night

This annual award is given to a Pink Ribbon exhibitor who has exemplifies dedication to the equestrian world and volunteers to help bring cancer awareness & education to the community. They are resilient, admired by our youth, and help other equestrians when in need, truly an honor to receive this beautiful award.



ENTERTAINING:

Consider reserving one of our "Polo" style cover box seats. We encourage you to break out the fine linen and silver bring some awesome eatables and sit back at your box all weekend and enjoy world class horses and equestrians. You are encouraged to cheer for your favorite and let the judge know your choice, get involved and have fun!


 




YOUTH SCHOLARSHIP AWARDYouth winner

The $1,000 Andrew J. Burin Scholarship to be awarded to the winner of the equitation Championship class who has won it any 3 times. Mr. Burin was a highly regarded architect in the Youngstown OH area and one of his many projects included the Eastwood Mall

 

 

PINK RIBBON EXPERIENCE:

Saturday morning (approx. 10am)

Reservations are now being accepted to get a behind the scenes of the equestrian experience at Pink Ribbon with the horses. You will visit with stables and get to meet the trainers and their highly trained steeds (space is limited get your reservations in early) this unique experience is FREE.

 

 

PINK RIBBON& BLACK TIE

Saturday night

All horse show officials will be decked out in black tie and all spectators are encouraged to wear pink in support of cancer awareness

 


MISS PINK RIBBON & LITTLE MISS PINK RIBBON

Friday Night

We will be crowning 2 winners from each section and runner ups. Girls from the Ravenna area are encouraged to submit a 500 word essay about breast cancer.  We will crown the winner Friday night a great way for us to reach out to the community and have young people start the awareness at an early age. ABSOLUTELY!!  Make all the noise you want!  Pick your favorite and cheer for them as they pass in front of the judge.  The horses love it, and the riders/handlers/drivers don't mind it either!
